Here is the one that was in my trunk. Can't believe I didn't think of taking a picture of it sooner! Not sure if this is a build sheet or not.

You can go to your Chevy dealer's service dept., given them your VIN and they'll print your Camaro's build sheet for you, free of charge.

Yes the dealer can print them, but they will not be the copies that followed the car down the line. They will be on plain 8.5x11 paper.

There will be two door rider build sheets in each of the inner door pockets and one more detailed build sheet in the trunk along with the floor mats at time of delivery. Always ask for these document's when your Camaro arrives, otherwise in most cases they are removed and lost for good . Sometimes if your real lucky you'll find a door rider in the centre console glovebox that's been signed!

When my dealer called and said my car had just arrived, 30 minutes late I was there to remove
the front license plate bracket from the trunk. I also took the build sheet, window stickers,
every piece of paper, the plastic seat covers, etc.

not sure if these cars will be worth anything down the road or not (nobody thought so back in the 60s) but if so the build sheet can only help value

I asked the dealer to do nothing when my car came in, no prep of any kind. I have the original plastic that goes on the seats and I have kept the plastic on the carpet under the floor mats. I for sure got my build sheet, it was under the seat.

^^^^^^ That plastic under the floor mats on my camaro are there 32,000 miles later.
I never saw any reason to remove them. Actually my factory mats have never been removed.
I've got mats for the mats which I can remove and clean... Talk about keeping it original. lol.

@myold88^^ Be sure to toss some of those moisture packets like you find in a new pair of shoes into your floorboard (maybe toss them under the plastic). If you are not removing the plastic, you may not be driving it much either which means it could be setting for a while gathering moisture from the air and temp changes...ie..sweating. This moisture cannot evaporate if there is plastic acting as a barrier. We don't want mold now do we?

I did that Mike, and the Prep Department blew it big time... Extremely disappointing to say the very least. I was in the business, so the fact that they still got it wrong continues to drive me nuts today.
