flag emblem colors gone
For people with the cross flags, the red, blue, black and white are fading from my emblems. Anyone else having this problem? Can't remember where I bought them and don't want to get replacements from same place. Probably at least year and a half old.

Try Third_Shift Studios. They have some custom emblems with the flags.

I have two brand new ones I never used them because I had something else made up by Emblem Pro's. I got mine from Rick's Camaro I would let them go for about $10 bucks each.

Which ones are they? I know some reproductions are not for use on a driver because they will fade and sometimes start rusting. I had that issue with some 56 Chevrolet emblems I bought once.

They are the ones from '67. I forget if they are repros or not or how much I paid for them. The emblems on my Impala look better and they're 50 years old!

Yea I have the same problem. Applied clear coat before I first mounted them and they still peeled in spots within ~6/7 mos. Then I applied adhesion promoter and repainted them and again applied clear coat ...some peeling again in less than 6mos Guess I'll just keep on repainting them every now & then ...no big deal but would rather not have to.

Where did you get them? I'm guessing I got them at either Rick's/Ecklers or Classic Industries. Might try Original Parts Group. Anyone have experience with them from there?

Yep I think they are made for show and not go. I think the factory originals use a tougher paint that is baked on. My opinion is if you want them on a driver NOS is the way to go if you can find them.
