We are like everyone else dealing with the cold and the snow. With my job I am covering a large area in the snow
belt. Lots of snow , high winds zero disability.
Wednesday due to the conditions stayed at my northern residence, they closed the roads .Stayed until the had roads plowed and opened up . Funny how employers don't get it .when are you coming in ? Their view from their office is clear , mine is not .
Everyone stay safe and warm., enjoy the weekend

Looks like I may be facing surgery. I have a very thickened lining to my uterus & still have the big fibroids that should have shrunk by now. Had to have a biopsy to see if the big bad "C" word rears it's head. Results by mid week next week. Likely at least a hysterectomy. Oh joy.

The appraisal on our old house came in lower than the agreed-upon price and despite our appeal to the appraisal, no change to it. The buyers did not have any $ to add above the appraised value which is of course all the loan will be approved for. There were 2 other interested buyers but that would mean starting all over with offers, counter offers, inspections, appraisal, etc. Taxes are due on the old house, still paying utilities, etc, soooooooooooo, we just lowered the price & will close mid week next week.

We have a small leak in the new house. Water spots appeared on ceiling tiles in my craft room downstairs. Ruled out plumbing issues. Probably from the vent on the roof. Good thing we are under warranty.

Our temps have swung from teens/single digits to mid 70's 2 times in the last 2 weeks. Yesterday 50 degree drop in 12 hours then kept falling from there. We have had heavy rain, flash flooding, area flooding, tornadoes, snow, storms, warm & sunny skies & high wind warnings within just a couple days. Just crazy.

Oh well, Life goes on & all will work out in the end. Stay safe & warm out there folks.

Hello crew. Well just an update. We closed on the house last week so one less worry. We never figured out what was up with the leak in the new house. Ruled out plumbing problems. With all the rain & wind we have had, no further leaking so not sure what that was about. Guess we will just have the builders replace the ceiling tiles & see if it ever recurs.

My biopsy came back negative. Yeah! But since there was such an excessive thickness to my uterus that should be super thin at this point plus the huge fibroids I have had forever & have not shrunk as they should have, I have to go back in for another biopsy in 3 months.

Hope everyone is fairing okay with all the rain, snow & storms around the country.

Depends which day & hour you are talking about. Our temps are going from 70
to 30 like they saw a LEO. Maybe you can take some of our rain! Luckily, we are up on a hill but lots of folks not so lucky. Interstates are a mess with land slides, some roads still closed & other flooding remains from the last round of rain & more is on the way. Good grief!

Welcome new folks.

I just don't know how you guys up north deal with the winter. Bad enough down here. Rained all day yesterday....again. But we get a clear but crisp day today....finally a decent weekend day. Have a good Sunday crew.
