So I had a m6 SS with 305's dr.'s and 11lb lighter racing wheels and some bolt ons. i would run 12.3's on the strip. I just got the scat pack and it runs the same exact on the strip right out of the box with 245's on the back (So dumb haha). I am going to put some 305's on the rear and easily run high 11's with just that. The 392's are so much faster than the camaros it is disgusting.

i Have a 1LE cam long tubes 484 rwhp ...my 15 A8 scat runs away out of the gate and my 1le creeps back up top but can't pull it down enough to out ET it ..i just changed my oil yesterday with 842 miles on scat and tuesday my 275/20 drag radials for it will be here ...hoping to go 11.80s-11.90s with LC set @ 3500rpm and no traction control at sea level!!! Stone stock !!! and it took long tubes and a kaotic cam .push rods valve springs tuning ect to get my 1LE to where it is ..then this 4200 lb beast just wipes its ass ...thing is a 12.20 114 mph sled outta the box !!! GOT ME BAFFLED !!!

i know its crazy right !!! 15 is the best challenger to date !!! this A8 IS AWSOME ..CAMARO SHOULD BE BACK IN BUSSINESS ONCE THE LT1 A8 Camaro hits!!!

Is your 1LE on drag radials...? The only way it logically makes any sense for the Challenger to take off on you off the line is if the Camaro is just sitting there spinning... The Camaro should be WAY faster than a 114mph car. On the street from a roll the Challenger would be in for a very bad time.

One thing that should be considered when looking at 1/4 mile runs is the gearing. My car was .1-.2 and 1-2mph slower in the quarter to my buddies heads and cam car (stock gears) at the track because he was able to hold 3rd to 7k through the traps, I needed 4th. We did a few rolls (on a closed road) and it was literally a dead heat from 55-120+... Just a thought...

Be nice if Chevy could figure a way to include a programmable launch control in it. Or the Rev matching feature the Vette has.
