Estimated life expectancy of tires on the SS with hotcam?

Like what, 200 miles?

sorry, I couldn't resist... I am just getting so antsy waiting for this car.

I'd count it in time. I'm guessing 15 minutes.

Forget the hotcam. MS4.

And on the stock 20s?

I'd say 5 minutes.

What you all should do is don't do burnouts like that in your car...It hurts various parts/componets on your car!!! Not to mention shreds tires. the smartest way to go would be to just wait til the life of the tires have almost expired then show out

This is the system for my old camaro, that car made the straightest two lines that your eyes would have ever seen.

i'm sure a stock ls3 can do the job of melting the tires just fine w/o a cam.

I'd rather bolt-on a SC than getting into the engine. However, a cam would be cheaper, and there's nothing like a big lope from a big V8

TLE (tire life expectancy) is directly proportional to LIF (lead in foot) true fact look it up.

Yah, who's gonna wait 1.5 to 2 years to do some burnouts with this beast?
