Thanks for stepping to the plate GM!
I ordered my GFX back in 2008 when I placed the order for my Camaro. I picked up the car in June of 2009. After about 3 months, I noticed that a rivet was beginning to show on the front chin spoiler. I took my car in and the dealership told me that it was normal (BS!). I put my car up for the winter and I when I brought it out in March I noticed it getting worse. I drove to Valdosta GA in late May for my son's High School graduation. When I got to Valdosta, the passenger side of the chin spoiler was coming undone. I bought some 3m tape to temporarily hold it together until I could get home to have it fixed. My car sat in the garage for 2 weeks without being driven because my work schedule has not been flexilble. I finally found tome to take it in today and the dealer (not the one I purchased the car from) tried to weasel out of repairing it under warranty. First, they tried to tell me that I had hit something. I asked for a manger and he came out and agreed with me that there was no impact anywhere. He then said that since they did not install the GFX that they were not responsible for it. When I had got home from my son's graduation, I had called GM customer service, and they established a case # and told me that I could have it repaired at any GM dealer. I showed the manger my case # and informed him that GM told me to take the car to any dealer. He was not happy, but agreed to fix my car under warranty. I bought my car at a dealership about an hour away and did not want to drive that far to have this problem fixed. I wish that dealers would just do the right thing first and not try to pass the buck. Thank you GM customer service!

GM dealers are the biggest reason people don't like GM. Me included.
I've always liked their cars, and have almost always had bad experiences with their dealers. In fact, as I think about it, I've had 7 new GM vehicles from 7 different dealers. Only two of the experiences were good. |

they act like they are doing you a favor.GM pays them for doing the work,i don't see why they give you such a hassle about doing warranty work.
