Texas speed 231/246

Welp pulled the trigger on the texas speed 231/246 cam kit. Anyone else running this cam. And what to expect hp gains with headers n cai? Driveability or other info. Parts should be in this week and going to kentucky speed and bluecat in the next few weeks. First real power mod for the car 17k miles m6 car.

The local dynos around here will put it under 480.

Im assuming those are flywheel numbers on a camaro ls3 or crate ls3?

How does it compare to the older style cams (231/236 or 235/239). Just asking because I have a235/239; curious on the difference.

I also just bought this cam for my LS3 camaro. It will be installed and dyno tuned the 2nd week of August. Cant wait to see how it performs. Did you install yours yet?

It was installed yesterday at kentucky speed. Its to be dyno tuned this evening possibly if not then wednesday by bluecat. So excited cant stand it lol. Ill post numbers and video when its finished.

Cool the heat is a BEACCCH for getting good numbers though.... even with correction factors.

Thats exactly what I am worried about here in south florida. I am going to try to get a dyno run before the cam install in 2 weeks so we can see a before and after in the same heat

Fortunatley been cool up here past few days... didnt get time to tune it friday so itl be done wednesday.. he did do a baseline with the headers. Vararam cai and custom diablo email tune. It made 412hp/400tq. So be happy to see what the gains will be with the cam and dyno tuning.
