What ever gets ya' ll through the night. IOM FTW!

Girlfriend says to the boyfriend. "I really wanted the smaller diamond anyways honey. All the 'oohs and aahs' get old after a few years anyways."

This is a really odd question to me. Spring for the bigger motor that you only use 1% of the time over the V6. But the seats get used and seen everyday.

You can't go wrong with cloth. I won't look bad in 5 years like most leather does

Cloth is great, after having a few leather cars and trucks in the past I will NEVER own leather again. I detail cars and keep the leather cleaned and conditioned. Still wrinkles and cracks will form over time aka 1 year

I've driven both... I bought leather... the cloth feels "cheap" to me. I'm glad I went with leather.

I got my 2004 Canyon in February 2004. Just under 90,000 miles later, the leather has yet to crack. I use Meguiar's Gold Class cleaner and conditioner.

So, I went with leather again. One thing I noticed on my 2SS, however, is that my butt leaves imprints in the leather seat. It comes back to its original shape.

The car is one month old, and now has 2200 miles on it.

See this thread:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112910

The butt-print thing seems to happen with us skinnier people more than larger people. With leather, just avoid pointy objects. That's how leather does get torn.

My friend has the 1SS, I have the 2SS. Some things to look at with the Camaro, aside from cloth vs leather in 1SS vs 2SS, respectively, include:
-2SS includes autodimming driver's sideview mirror
-2SS includes Bluetooth Audio and Phone Calling (Hands-Free Profile)
-2SS includes the Heads-Up Display
-2SS includes the 4-pack gauge cluster
-2SS includes the interior accent lighting

To me cloth is a superior seating surface when compared to leather. It wears better, is grippier, breathes better, and is cooler in the summer.

Also I have a problem with a living, breathing, sentient being giving up its life to give my butt a place to sit.

But the wife really wanted heated seats and I wanted the electronic goodies that came with the 2SS. So leather it is.

If I could find a way to trade someone for cloth and keep my seats heated I would do it.

If Chevy offered real cloth sport seats I would have sacrificed those luxuries and went with cloth for sure.

I think they did a nice job with the cloth seats. Different strokes for different folks.

the leather seats are the way to go. if you live in an area w/ cold weather, just wait till you use the heated seats option, you'll never regret it after that

Leather for the win!!! Heated seats, comfortable, no spills/stains, and (not that I plan on it) higher resale value. It is one of the options that differentiates the camaro between a sports car and a luxury sports car.

Ignoramus. Some people actually prefer the cloth, and it doesn't come down to a money issue. If I wanted to inflate my ego and show everyone how big my **** was, I would have bought a Vette, which i can afford. I chose cloth like a lot of other people. Get your freaking head out of the sand.
