And for those freaking out why I want IRS; an IRS in a 1500 can easily handle its payload rating and the ride will be 1000s time better.

So for people like me towing travel trailers without kids anymore the 1500 would be a fantastic tow vehicle with IRS and a couple size travel trailer. Yes technically the new Tahoe with MAX tow can just about out tow a Crew Cab Silverado 1500 and the Tahoe has IRS.

Modern trucks, especially GM trucks ride great though. They have had a great ride for years now so I'm not sure the argument that it will ride 1000 times better is valid because in all reality, it just won't.

Also, a Tahoe won't even come close to the max trailering of a half ton truck. You're talking about 11,900 pounds max for the Silverado vs 8200 for the Tahoe.

GO drive the 2 Tahoe (live and IRS) back to back and then report back here. It is a big difference.

I drive most of them every day.

I've been doing this for 21 years, I know what I'm talking about.

I didn't reference Tahoe SRA vs Tahoe IRS. I simply pointed our your comment about truck ride quality. Something that hasn't been an issue in GM trucks for over 20 years.

And I did not say they had bad ride quality, I just stated it would be better with IRS and it will. The RAM ride quality is leaps better than the GM and it would be better with IRS.

I didn't find it nearly as bad in person - actually had nothing bad to say about it once I actually sat in a C8 compared to what I thought of it in pictures.
