Arrow Using myChevy App With Aftermarket Radio

Does anyone know if I can use the myChevy app with an aftermarket radio? I want to be able to use the remote start feature through the app and in order to activate the app I would need to put the factory radio back in for OnStar to work. Do I have to leave the factory radio in or is there some kind of OnStar module I can get for the Kenwood radio I have in it now. I asked Kenwood but they weren't very helpful/

Crutchfield sells onstar modules. The aftermarket radio companies wouldn’t be much help. Call crutchfield and they’ll help you find everything you need.
