I have the 10.4mm wires and have no issues, just angle the boot properly away from the header and you'll be ok

I have 1 7/8" Dynatech ceramic coated headers from Ted. No issues, with fit. They run cool and still look brand new two years later. As stated above Jannetty has a great reputation and is really easy to work with.
