There is a big difference between flat out not liking a car, and that same car not being a "big deal" or a piece. For example, I personally would always choose a Vette over a porsche 911, but I realize the 911 is an amazing car.
I wouldn't personally throw the money down on a SuperSnake either, but I know those cars are worthy of respect.

The 700hp get my attention. Best photographed from the front.

Looks like a bad ass car to me. Personally I love the red GT posted on another thread. |

The car itself looks good, especially the hood, but the side scoops and wheels are bleh. Nice color. I wouldn't want one personally, but I'm glad Ford owners have something they can crow about. Keeps GM in the fight. Which is good for the rest of us.

It was a Hennessey HPE650 vs. the Super Snake vs. a Speed Factory SRT8 Challenger. Apparently the motor in the Hennessey was putting out more than the advertised 650 hp. But the biggest factor was that the Super Snake had more motor than tire. It came in dead last on the track, on the skid pad, and in breaking. It was also only able to tie the SRT8 for second in 0-60 despite the fact that the Super Snake had an almost 200 hp advantage.

Also, most of those "Auto Zone plastic extras" are actually carbon fiber and very expensive. |
