New here and new to everything
Well hello my name is Jayce, I am 29 years old, married with one daughter. I have a 1995 Chevy Camaro that was a gift from my dad before he passed away a few months ago. He was a mechanic and cars, racing etc was his passion. We weren't really close for many years and we finally started to patch things up. We bonded by talking while he taught me how to perform maintenance on my vehicle. He has a 4th gen camaro and he bought me one as a surprise gift so that we could rebuilt it together and spend more time together. He got sick and passed away in November of '18 before we got to do anything to the car that sits in my garage now. I don't have any knowledge other than the basics, oil changes etc. But, I want to learn on my own and finish this for him. Anyways, this is going on too long but I hope to read and learn as much as I can, ask questions and continue to fall in love with this world. Hope to talk to you all in the future.

First and foremost, "Welcome to the Forum". Very sorry for you loss. I am sure your dad will be looking down on you saying, "go for it son you can do it"! I could only wish I had a car that my dad had given me. Every time you look at that car or work on it your dad will come to mind.
You will find there are many great members here that will bend over backwards with advise. Make sure you learn how to navigate around the Forum, once comfortable make sure we get some pictures and an ideal of what you want to do. Again, welcome my friend. Larry

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
