2019 Camaro Tailights

Okay, I actually like the 2019 taillights.
Now, does anyone know if they can be retrofitted to a 2016-18?
Or did the body and tail change?
Tnx

The angles on the rear bumper sure look different, so I think you'll need a bumper swap as well.

No, they do not fit. The trunk won't shut.

I like them also but won't be making the change. It will need a bumper swap. If you take a look at pictures of the rear there are grooves cut out to make room for the two individual rings.

The 2019 will bolt in place of the 2016-18, but won't match up with the 2016-18 rear bumper.

The trunk will close, as the trunk lid, and the rest of the body structure, has not changed.

You'll have to swap the bumper with the lights. I plan on doing this once the parts get released for purchase.

Got these from GM

Bumper P/N - 84574467
Tail Lights P/N - 84529733 and 84529732

Saw them in person. They have several floating around town here.

My girlfriend said they look like the lights on the older Malibu's , she's right .

Which oddly enough at the time were directly inspired by the 5th Gen Camaro. It was supposed to make the Malibu look cooler. I don't think they should have bothered back then. Haha so now people see these Camaro lights and view it as a Malibu like downgrade which is understandable. I like them myself.

I feel like they match the ZL1 style however with the LS/LT/SS they don't really flow with the bumper
