Someone hit my car today... Opinions please
So, I came out of a restaurant today, and low and behold I find scratches on my front passenger side of my car, and rim.... I don't know how this even happened because I was parked far out away from all cars. Can you guys tell me what you think, how much it'll be to get fixed and what are my options? I'm really upset right now, especially about the damn rim :/

Black just shows everything. Have you tried polishing? I have black too and somebody open their car door into mine and couldn't care less. I used polished and I can barely see it but the line is still there. The rim looks like curb damage. Sorry man but anything cosmetic can be fixed.

I'm going to try polishing it or just having it professionally done, just sucks man especially when it wasn't my fault, you know? |

Where were you parked? Any dents? Looks totally fixable. Why can't people just respect other people's property? I'll be upset too. Check the detailing section those guys know exactly what to do.

No dents thank god, looks like they swiped my car. I was parked way far out next to no cars, there's no reason anyone else would even need to come close to my car.

It doesn't matter how far down in a parking lot you park it seems there's always someone wanting to park by these beauty's.

Do you let anyone else drive the car? Maybe it was there before and you just never noticed it until coming out of that restaurant.

NO ONE is allowed to drive my car, no one has driven except for me. I'm positive it wasn't there because I let my girlfriend out of the car, and opened the door for her after and that's when I noticed, I'm very anal about my car, and look at it every single solitary day, lol.

You, my friend, need to invest in a Trunk Monkey.

Some of that will not buff out. However, if you buff out what will and do some decent touching up on the leftover spots you will be left with something that won't stick out too much. People suck.

Sometimes when you park far away and out in the open, punks like to push shopping carts to see if they can hit you. Were there carts in this parking lot?

Unfortunately it sounds like you obsess over your ride, so call insurance and pay the deductible and get it fixed right. Otherwise you won't be entirely happy then you'll have wasted time trying to repair it yourself when it could have already been fixed. |
