2021 Camaro 1SS will be on Dealer Lots?
This is my 1st post.
I have had a 2009 Challenger Rt and then upgraded to a 2012 Challenger TA Package and now owning a 2016 Challenger Shaker. looking to buy a Challenger Shaker again but a Scatpack. But don't really wanna wait till Dec when they start rolling in. Just started looking at Camaros 1SS and they look good but maybe a tads smaller inside the car? Was looking at a nice 1SS in dark Green Manual online for $36,000 and I will have my GM Points ($1500) but thinking why buy a year old car when driving off a dealers lot when the 2021 1SS will be out in about 2 months. I feel getting a Basic 1SS should be fine since I don't need everything that a $50,000 Camaro has..........Have NO clue if I will get a Challenger or a Camaro but since the Camaros will be out 2 months earlier then the Challengers,at least I will be able to sit in one and see how it feels...............JT |

I don't believe there are going to be any big changes between the 2020 and the 2021 to make it worth it to wait. They would be more motivated on a 2020, and still give you all of the new car discounts.
If you want the v8 and saving money, don't forget that Chevy started to offer an LT1 trim, which is the cheapest way to get the v8.

Reason I rather get a 2021 because they will be out in a month.(why buy a 2020 since it will be a year old}
GM rebates are only $1500 sooooo thats no big deal. But I feel a basic 1SS will be fine butttt will have to see if I like them when they get to the dealers lots. Otherwise I will get a Basic Challenger Shaker Scatpack Manual in Dec..................JT |

I love my camaro. I spent lot of money making it special. BUT if i was in the market for a daily driver that i would only do bolt on intake exhaust mods on, a 392 challenger is hard to beat. You need a full bolton LT1 gen 6 to run even with a newer stock 392.
Hate to say it, but a camaro will either need boost or aggressive cam job to hang with a bolton 392 challenger OR charger. If you plan to boost, go chevrolet. |

The Camaro is a lot smaller inside. I am 6'2" and can fit in the back seat of a Challenger. No way in a 6th gen Camaro. Trunk is bigger as well in Challenger. The Challenger is more usable, but You will have more fun in the Camaro, it weighs a lot less, handles better, and probably faster in the real world.
