Question about the gmx ground effects exhaust exits

Just a quick question that im struggling with. Does anyone know if i were to put a GM style (GMX) ground effects package on a 2010 SS if the exhaust will need any adjusting? Ive seen exhausts that are specific for the GMX kit but i didnt know if i would have to change or move the exhaust tips and mufflers around if i installed one. The specific kit im getting is the Carbon Creations GMX style ground effects finished in carbon fiber. Idk of that will help lol. Thanks!

Iirc, the gfx systems have specific tip lengths to match that bumper cover. You could probably tweak whatever tips you can fit in there without much issue is imagine.

They are in the same spot, issue is tip size fitting the square opening.

The GM Ground effects kit was meant to work with the stock round factory tips or the square after market ones.

The GM kit has a small notch to allow the factory tips to sit in the square hole. The problem you will run into is you have an aftermarket exhaust. The tips would have to be the same diameter and distance as the factory to sit in the hole correctly.

If not any shop can cut the pipe behind the tips and suck them in to have them fit.
