Getting real answers to all the questions we get daily

We finally have an opportunity to get my 2018 ZL1 1LE on the dyno and start the process of collecting data on every combination we can come up with.

Also to get real answers to the daily questions?

I have built and tuned many Gen6 ZL1 but usually jump to our 75 RWHP package or larger?

How much is just a tune worth?

What will a Throttle body do?

What will a CAI or Rotofab give me?

What do Headers add?

What does Flex fuel add?

What do pulleys do?

What does a camshaft do?

What does a larger blower add?

The first series covers the first 3 Items, I think it would be impossible to cover every conceivable combination so we are choosing the most common questions we get.

Please like and share our videos and comment so we can answer your questions.

Nice video Ted. Tune only results were an eye-opener!

I suspect that 95mm TB will pay even bigger dividends as you start pushing the blower harder. Any pulley changes planned?

Yeah it was.

Yes I also tested CAI and Rotofab tuned yesterday for back to back real results.

I will be releasing a video of that in 10 days my IT guy is on Vacation until then.

Great vid Ted, thanx for putting that together! Everyone that watches that is going to be looking for a tune, the only problem will be finding a legit (competent) tuner.

I like where this is going. Thanks for sharing your data. Maybe not coincidentally, I found similar results when tuning my ZL1. Pig rich with throttle closure issues.

Mine was closing throttle a good deal on the dyno as well. Really weird.

Thank you for sharing...I'm pretty green on modding & this really helps.

Good to hear about the remote tuning as I had the same concern.

Great video Ted. I think this is something a lot of us have been waiting for. I'm wondering if the throttle blade closing has anything to do with the factory torque management? I've noticed that if my car hooks too well at the track, it seems to pull power for a bit. It's a noticeable feel that's reflected on the timeslip.

Amen to that Big Dave!!! I saw it first hand! bone stock vs a CAI, PTB and a drag pack! Had me beat consistently! I am working with Ted as we speak with a 15% pulley a tune and ARH long system! Hoping for mid 10's! we shall see!
