20x9 Rear wheel on the front??
It looks to me that the tire(274/40/20) will hit the spring perch as the tire will move a little over 3/4 in towards it. A shorter 255/40/20 should clear
as some use 285/35/20s on 10 in wheels and both are 28 in tall. 275s being 28.7in. Anyone done this and determined the fit, both static and turning? Last edited by chuckclanton; 12-07-2018 at 08:05 AM. Reason: error |

You can put your rear wheels with the 275s on the front with any problems.

I was running the rears on the front however I took them off because I was getting a shimmy at around 50-60 mph. I think the wheels just need a good road force balance though.

There are a lot running the stock 9's in front and lowered. Should be a no brainer.

My co-worker bought a '17 LS turbo which has the 18x8.5 +32 all the way around. He saw some KMC wheels that he liked, so he went to their website. They weren't shown as an option on their configurator, so he called them. The person there said that 18x9.5 +35 won't fit in the front. It didn't sound right to me, because I'm aware that people run wider wheels on the front, but I didn't question it because I figured the manufacturer must know.
Seeing this thread makes me wonder if the information he received is correct?
