I understand you aren't "wanting" to part, but if you decide to, please PM me on the condition of the wheels and price.

Looks like the ECU and all electrical boxes are fried. I dont know anyone that would buy it as is except maybe someone that will part it out. Would cost way too much to try and get road worthy again. It should be parted out.

P.S. I'll take the wheels. LOL

thanks for your opinion, HOWEVER i have a few interested in buying to fix as it is not nearly "too much" to fix, a quick peak on the net and you can replace with NEW OEM harness for 350$, ECM goes for $100, fuse box $100-150, brake module 200$.
this is a VERY capable candidate for someone who has a totaled rear end collision car or driver side damage or front end collision even.
for the price you could make this a rebuilt title car and be thousands and thousands below value, or a perfect sweet chassis for a serious drag racer who gives two shits about half the stuff as it would be replaced and removed anyways and that person can choose to part it out.

I hear what your saying and not basing just stating my opinion and everyone has one to include you.

Not sure I would actually trust the strength of the metal any longer after the heat the fire put on it.

Fire damage is like water/flood damage to a cars electrical systems. Unless you replace everything and I mean everything you will always have electrical problems coming up with it. Not very safe.

like i said new harness, new fuse box, all that is cheap easy parts. if it didnt melt the PLASTIC cowling at the firewall im not concerned with the heat.

Thats my truck in 2010.... I rebuilt it in 9 months and have had ZERO issues and pennies on the dollar to rebuild it for what its worth. I haul loads from 28,000-35,000lbs

No one is talking about the brakes. I would be interested if you are willing to part with them. I'm only asking since wheels and suspension are already coming out.

This ZL1 is a car i bought as is not "mine" originally

The other is a truck not a car, and the stacks plus cardboard road debris didn't pair up well

10k for the shell. engine and trans around 20k give or take and then a couple grand for electronics. another few grand on suspension. couple grand on brakes. rear end..slap a couple three four grand there. misc costs and labor and est about 36k to get the car running again? over all about the same as buying a used ZL1 right now?

id be interested at about 3 or 4k for what is there now and parting it out myself. pretty positive you wont be intersted in that though. GLWS
