Clicking sound when taking off from a stop?

Good afternoon Everyone,

I have a 2014 1LE that I have owned for about 2 years now. I bought it from the original owner and I don't drive like a mad man. The past few months, I have been hearing some "clicking" sounds coming from the rear-end once its seems like the rear end is taking on power? The issue seems to be happening more consistently. I am thinking this may be a CV axle problem? The car only has 37k miles and is still under factory warranty. Has anyone else had this issue or have an idea on what is happening?

Thanks in advance.

JP

Thank you for sharing! Ill probably take this info to the dealer and see if someone there has been there long enough to have seen this issue before .

I had a similar issue when i had a loose axle nut. Its cheap to try as they shouldnt be reused when taken off.

I registered the same problem two years ago when I got my car.
I did not pay much attention.

In the morning it made a "click" and quiet all day.
I was looking for a piece by number, but E-bay and Rockauto are silent.

The question is, what would be the absence of a washer for a long time. Practically, it is just a matter of defining a shallow will.

^This^

You'll want to fix it asap. Some of us aren't so lucky and if the nut backs out too far or the inner bearing race fatigues your wheel can come off.
