I've been beating this around for a few days now, but let me know what you all think about doing a meet and greet later this spring or early this summer?
The wife was in at the dealer today and mentioned to the owner about doing the get-together there. He thought it was a good idea.
I'm looking for a consence from everyone before I go and approach him and see if they would do something like a small BBQ for the people who show up.
Let me know what you all think and when would be a good time.
Since I'm on the coast the weather typically doesn't get good until the middle of May. The 4th of July weekend is out, way too busy. I will also be out of town the last week of August. The majority rules for dates. For planning purposes, suggest a couple of weekends to pick from incase the weather doesn't cooperate or the dealer has something going on.

Let me know! I'll try and make it work.

How about June 19th? I'm booked May 1st, Memorial Day weekend, June 12th, And Week of Labor Day we are taking the Camaro to Yellowstone/Teton. Pretty much open for other dates in between. Astoria is just a tank of gas for me.

I probably could do any date in June except the 5th (Car Club Challenge), though last weekend is the PNWCC meeting as well.

I'd be interested in going, I think.

OK, I just had an Idea. Will the Tillamook air museum be open in June? That would be a cool place for some group photos. Or maybe a tour of the Coastal Forts. Start at Fort Columbia on the WA side of the Columbia. Then cross the river to Astoria and Fort Stevens. Eventually move down the coast towards Seaside. Just a thought.

June 19th is out PNWCC has a club thing that day. May 22nd in Gig Harbor,WA is the breast cancer car show. May 29th is my dealerships 5th gen gathering and meeting. May 8th is our first car club race at bremerton raceway. June 5th is another race day. June 11th thru 13th of June Yakima wine tour get away. End of June is the trip to Canada. Well, after looking at the whole schedule, I'm a wrap for pretty much the whole summer. Sorry i can't be there. I would like to see a good turn out for the wine tour in Yakima. Rooms would be at the oxford suite. Pricing I think at around 120 a night with PNWCC is mentioned. Thanks.

I stopped by the dealer today and talked with the owner. He's putting June 26th on his calendar for the meet and greet. I asked if they would host a BBQ for the people who show up and he's willing to do it. He just asked for a head count. I know this is about 1 1/2 months away, but I want to be able to let the dealer make plans to clear his lot and get everything ready.
If your interesed in coming, please sound off with the number you would be bringing.
