Which did you like better
With the changes they made to the 4th Gen in 1998. Was wondering which version of the 4th Gen you actually liked better.
1993-1997 1998-2002

That is WAY tough. THey're both beautiful cars and the 93-97 is the one I first fell in love with. I gotta say the 98-02, but only with the ss scoop. Without, 93-97 Z28 has the edge

I'm gonna have to say 98-02, even though I liked 93-97 first.
I eventually stopped liking the headlights being in the nose, and when I saw that 98 brought them out and rounded off the nose, I knew what I wanted. |

Wow, this is turning out to be a bit more one-sided than I thought it would be. Figured it would be a closer battle.

In 2002, I was thinking about trading my '96 Z28 on a new Z28. For about a week I kept going to look at a silver one. But I kept looking at that front end, with those headlights and open mouth grille. I just couldn't accept it. The '93-'97 front is so much more mean looking. I love the small, recessed headlights. Still driving my '96.

I've owned both (94 Z28 and 98 SS). I liked the 93-97 cars a lot, but I fell in love with the 98-02 cars when I first saw them. Especially the SS's.

I love 96-97 SS's, but its hard to beat the power of the LS1. The 98-02's don't look too bad either. Another vote for the LS1.

98-02! i'm actually in the market, to me it look gorgeous from the front, like it hasn't got a care in the world..like it's invincible! can't wait to drive mine.

my thoughts the style of the 98-02 he front end reminds me of a sebring, the 93-97 have a more agressive mean look to them, but i have to agree with the power in the later modles

93-97 for sure... if the lt1 motor came stock with the same hp as the ls1, the ls1 would have no chance of beating the lt1 IMO
