10.7's all night last night all motor stock block!
The D/A was a little better than last time I was out, it was +600. This car runs like a clock, extremely consistent, 1.45-1.46 60 foot times last night! I did test MS109 race gas on the dyno yesterday and it didn't gain anything at all, so I put the 93 pump gas back in and drove the car to the track. Ran 10.7x 5 passes, got 3 of them on video, enjoy!

Obviously yes I retuned with the MS109, I strapped down the car, did 2 pulls for verification with 93 pump gas still in the tank, then drained the tank and put in 3 gallons of MS109, did a base pull and it lost 5 rwhp, put more fuel and timing to it and 5 pulls later it was a gain of 1 rwhp from the 93 pump gas which I considered negligible. I am not saying that gas does not work, it just didn't work for my combination. My compression is only about 11.4:1 and I don't have a huge cam that requires fly cutting valve reliefs in the pistons. Take it for what it is, I am just sharing my results .

how much did you mill the heads for 11.4:! compression, i was discussing this with my roommate not three days ago. i'm wanting to do the same with some stock heads.

I think it was .030, it was about 3 years ago so I could be wrong.

Congrats on the run but I am also surprised by the no gain with race fuel with that much compression. I wonder if the race fuel would enable you to keep from any timing retard with higher IAT's and engine temps. As in not gain any power when when temps are normal but not lose any either when temps are bad.

ive talked about doing a race gas tune with my buddy that builds ls motors and such. he doesnt tune just does the building. he said from what he has seen with my stuff that race gas wouldnt do alot for me he wouldnt think. my car is a ls3 vette , going with a decent size cam but no flycutting but right on the edge of having to. but ill be running nitrous sometimes to. he said on that just do a dedicated tank and run race gas to be able to run a bigger shot more safely .

Yeah I think Mike is saying his engine doesn't have so much compression that a race gas tune would add much.
