Ill chime in im not sure where all the hate from the 2019 Frontend comes from i think it looks great. People have come up to me and asked what car it is and i tell them camaro they say man that frontend looks mean as shit. I even asked one guy you dont hate the frontend he said no its the one thing that looks mean on the car. All my friends jumped on the hate bandwagon till they saw it in person and now they think it looks sinister thats the comment i keep hearing.

Voicing your opinion is not shitty Yes, most of us don't like a not needed refresh and then a patch to a not needed refresh. But can't go back to 2016-2018 so... there's where the frustration is coming with all these threads. I am a developer. First of all, if it's not broken, don't fix it. Applies to everything in life. If the code is almost perfect (2016-2018) and you come and create a bug (2019), I will not patch your bug (2020), but go back to the original code that worked (2016-2018). Well, too bad it doesn't work in cars world... Last edited by yankee; 07-24-2019 at 11:26 AM. |

Stop crying about your 19! It doesn't look bad at all BUT when compared to 16-18, it does. 20 looks better than 19 but still a little funky...……...sorry not sorry!
…………..I'd take an LT1 over any of them now. |

I am digging the 19's. A big black grille area is the fad atm on all car lines. And , I have to agree it looks split bumperish.

ok, My $0.02. I love my 2019 2SS. I made sure to buy every bell & whistle on it so I will love it. I also have skin in the game and this is my 2nd camaro (look at my join date) That is why this run around I made sure to have a Camaro with at least min $10k in options. And I have a loaded camaro 2SS now. I absolutely love the car and grill, I realize others do not though. at car car shows everyone says they love my camaro, but i can tell it was some of these people's first time seeing the 2019 refresh. My ultimate advice is I hope you bought the car because it is what you like, not what others like. I very much like your car OP. Also while I am it , wouldnt it be easy to just swap the 2020 bumper on , plug n play?

My point was that the world didn't decide to dislike the 19 model because the internet and the press disliked it. Causation vs correlation. The internet and the press disliked it for the same reason that so many would've-been buyers disliked it......... It wasn't appealing to the majority of people. They all disliked it because it was dislikable..... not because somebody or a group thought for them.

I like the 16-18 the best and the 2020 is a close second, maybe not as aesthetically pleasing as the 18s but more modern. Imo sometimes the front fog light vents look a little cheesy on the 16-18s but the taillights more than make up for that.
I don't think the 19s look bad, they have grown on me especially in person, but I would rank them third and so would the majority of people imo. However I do think the uniqueness of the 19 adds so appeal to them, so if you like them that's icing on the cake. I also think that all three versions look their best in 1le form with the 19 benefiting the most from the 1le appearance accents. To the op who said the 2020s looks funky or the front is dropping down more than the 19s, pretty sure you were looking at the 2020 lt1. The ss's are the same besides bowtie placement and front bar being color matched.
