Tire Sealant and Compressor Kit

Was in my trunk today checking my battery when I noticed a date on the Tire Sealant and Compressor Kit. looks like the sealant has a expiration date. Mine expired on 06 of 2018. So, went to local dealer and ordered a new sealant canister. $37, part number 20882457.
Page 10-78 within the operators manual shows you how to change out canister.
Has anyone ever used this sealant kit? Think it would be my last resort, but I've had to use last resorts before.

This plus I always carry, in all my cars, a can of Fix-a-Flat or Slime all my vehicles.
Wlayy World has the best prices.

If some idiot let's the air out in a parking lot or worse, lose air while on the highway, just pump a can of fix flat. No compressor required. I buy the large tire size. Made for big off road tires.

That said, I'm going t check the expiration date on the factory can
Thx for the info

After you put in the Slime, you still need a compressor.
