My bolt on-> big cam-> SC build

So a quick summary , I just finished my active duty tour in the Navy .
While I was in a purchased a low mile 2SS LS3 2010 Camaro from an older lady in Seattle .
Plans on simple bolt ons but couldn’t stop once I felt power increase
I’ve done all my work myself from bolt ons to cam install to working with a supercharger company and install (details to come)
I’d like to create this thread to help DIY guys and encompass like minded members .

Nice ride.... What did you do at Whidbey? I was CTI aircrewman flying on EP-3B/E's and EA-3B's VQ-1 out of Atsugi, Japan before the consolidation to Whidbey. I was later the EP-3E Deputy Program manager at the Pentagon in 2000-2002 and did some of the groundwork for consolidating the EP-3's to Whidbey.

Thanks juiced I just purchased 1500ccs looking to possibly run E85 back home but my retune will be those at 8-9 lbs , shooting for 700 .
And yes the navy is completely different today , I believe VQ1 flew support missions in the South China Sea with us. We’re glad to have them .

I’ve worked with Torqstorm for the past 6 months and they’re the real deal. All American made / American parts , awesome customer service with lifetime warranty.
I was going to post a separate post about them due to them being so new but if you want to talk more in depth shoot me a PM .
Other than that I was at 500~ wheel 470tq prior , with the Torqstorm and tune I got 146/150 wheel just on 5lbs
I’m fully confident I can get 200 wheel out of it and for the price you can’t beat it .
Call Chris at Torqstorm and tell him Norman from Camaro5 sent ya .

What has torqstorm done to correct the problems that powerdyne had? I had a powerdyne on my mustang and it was nothing but problems.

I had the same concern and I believe we can all agree powerdyne was junk , from my understanding is powerdyne contacted accelerated , the other side of Torqstorm which is a CNC shop to help redesign the entire unit . The guys from powerdyne defaulted and backed so accelerated was left with their own product and a huge bill thus creating Torqstorm .
The package I received from them was bar none, everything was CNC’d and excellent quality.
They’re an all American company . More info is on their website but numbers I made don’t lie , as well as a lifetime warranty

I thought I had read somewhere that a ported manifold wasn't a good idea with a blower, any concerns on that?

You are correct for high boost applications . Running 8lbs is nothing to really worry about speaking for the structural integrity of the manifold. More than 10lbs and higher is where it becomes an issue .
