Thanks I got 13.8 today and 104 in the quarter I beat a GT mustang and was within 2 tenths of of my buddies 13 SS LS3 with air intake. He got 108 in the quarter

So I lost the bet to him and he beat my ass at the track
Also josh has a baby arm

It sounds a tad slow, but you have to put that into perspective.

His buddies LS3 with an intake only ran a 13.6. I'm guessing the DA in that texas heat kills everyone's times.

Plus look at the car in his sig...he looks to be running 21 or 22" heavy rims. IBM can you tell us what rims/tires you were running? That alone could have been worth a few tenth.

But yes, need to see your time slip as I'm guessing you could have gotten a bit more out of that run.

I thought forced induction doesn't get dictated by DA...at least not as much as NA.

edit: rims/tires might have more to do with it though.

I've read that too, but something is going on considering the SS ran a 13.6 according to what he said.

well, if it is DA, the SS would be affected more than the boosted v6. So theoretically, if the DA was bad, the SS could be converted to low 13's to high 12's, where the v6 would maybe go down to 13.4-13.5 after correction.

Manual or auto? LLT or LFX? If the LFX, log it to see if the throttle body is opening all the way on the hit...it may not be opening all the way until it hits a certain MPH due to some tables in the tune.

Should be running low 13's for sure with the power you have, we have a bolt on only NA car here local running 13.10's which is the quickest NA I have seen, but there are plenty of other ones with your same SC running low 13's and det_duke ran a 12.80.....

If larger wheels/tires are on as KM states, that will slow you down considerably as well. If a manual trans then practice will do wonders.

You still killed a Stang though!!! Congrats!

Not to de-rail this thread, but I've seen you posting about this individual a couple of times here lately. Not saying we don't believe you, but some kind of evidence of this would be pretty nice. Is this guy a member? Maybe next time you see him at the track you can get a picture or video or something for us.

Forgive me if I sound sceptical, but the next best on our fast list is 3 tenths higher than that, which is a considerable difference.

Ill get my slip up later tonight my car was making a bad grinding noise only at 1000 or 1200 rpm that noise wasn't there before sounds like its coming from the underside of the car exhaust not engine

Not a horrible 60' time, but you could stand to gain some there. What about your rims...what were you running?

If the rims are the ones in your sig, that is likely a large part of the reason you lost to the SS.
