I know, these people are getting fast! But just imagine what you could run in some of that crazy negative DA.
And direct port meth injection huh... That's crazy, we're gonna have to start calling you Heisenberg

Went and started taping the holes for the methanol nozzles. Problem is that the runner wall is too thick for the AIS nozzles, I will have to drill a bigger hole just before the tap to get the 11mm part in. |

After doing some research, I went ahead and ordered a 3.125" pulley. This will max out the SCi, so if I want more power I have to go to the Si impeller. The Si will definitely make more boost but I think it needs more engine power to turn, it is mostly recommended for bigger V8's that have the torque.
I won't be installing it immediately, I have to get some more work done first. Most of it will be for engine safety since it will be pushing the limits hard. Should be interesting next year. |

Here's a cold air intake for you to go along with that badge.

I'd like to see ETMX183 do this with his nitrous setup. Looks like that is a pain in the ass drilling and tapping that? Was there not enough room to get it into the aluminum part, or did it just not make sense putting it there?

It wasn't too hard to drill and tap, but the big pain was getting all the shavings out of the manifold since you can't open the top like the LLT one. I'll take a picture of it sitting on the engine tonight, you can see how much room there is. It will be possible to fab a direct port nitrous setup since those nozzles can be longer. Would probably look bad-ass. Quote:
For my wife's Mustang, we are working on her supercharger purchase. If she gets her promotion to Director of Biological Warfare then we should be good. |

Placed the manifold on top of the engine to show how much room there is. Yes the engine is dirty.

That nitrous setup looks good, next year is going to be interesting.
My 3.125" pulley on top of the stock IPF pulley. I bought a digital caliper and the stock IPF pulley is 3.80", the size I thought it was. I also got a Greddy FV BOV. The FV is Floating Valve, when the intake manifold is under vacuum the BOV isn't open unless there is boost pressure inside the charge pipes, so no air will get in through it. The bypass valve won't work anymore, too much air needing to be moved. I also ordered a new V3 vent and dipstick plug so I can replace the worn out brass ones I have. Still seeing what else I need to work on, but going to be an awesome setup when I'm done. |

Finally got the 3.125" pulley installed, hate doing pulley swaps. I originally got a 104.5" goodyear belt for it but it was too short so I had to go back to the 105.5" belt I had for the 3.33" pulley. The tensioner mark is at the halfway mark so I should be good.
I got the cold side pipes mocked up, just have to get everything installed now. Going to lower my RPM limit to 6500 for now just to get everything tuned right. Also going to see if there is a place to install a wastegate for a torque booster setup, allow some others to feel high torque without having to use meth to keep the engine alive. |
