67 Camaro Fender Badge

Hi Guys,

I was reading one of the posts on the forums. And I saw that some people have put up the old school fender badges under their CAMARO fender logo. (Picture located below). I want to order some... but I saw a picture somewhere that the Emblem back isn't Flat. I assume I have to Nail it into my fender? @_@ Hopefully someone has done this, and can confirm if i HAVE to nail it in, or if there is another solution on placing these on my 2010 Camaro =D

Thanks!

How do you guys stick on the old fender badges though? because they aren't flat on the back =o. They have like Nails or something. Kinda like a "pin" on

I just bought two factory originals at a swap meet last weekend. The easiest thing to do -- what I did -- is to simply grind off those tabs on the back. I used a belt sander, and they come right off, in less than a minutes time. I just blew them out with compressed air, cleaned them with rubbing alcohol, and then used some 3M extreme strength emblem adhesive tape on the back of the flags. Then I cut out the excess tape with an exacto knife. It's really very easy. The whole install only took me about 25 minutes or so.

Are the factory Originals made out of real chrome metal? Or chrome plastic? Thanks guys, you've been very helpful

The factory originals that I bought are metal chrome. Talk about heavy duty!

Thought i may toss a link at you for some badges. This where i'm thinking of snagging a couple from. Just an option, not endorsing.

Those are cheap! I paid $40 a piece for mine. Mine were still in the box from the factory though, and since they don't make them anymore, a brand new set is a pretty rare find I suppose.
