I like both, the Z/28 is raw power, the ZL1 1LE is more refined, now do i wish GM did a active wing? Yes i do, but in time that will come, Maybe on the 2020 Z/28, only time will tell.
For you track guys if you have a friend that will let you use a ZL1 1LE for 30 min take it out, you will be amazed by how good it holds the road at high speeds. |

Lol.... the Z/28 driver backed it off the trailer in like 10 seconds. ZL1 driver allowed enough time to go make a sandwich and still make it back in time to see it come off the ramp.

This thread kinda reminds me of the reviews on Camaro5 when GM did the refresh on the 2014-15. Most everybody who had a 2010-13 hated the rear-end. Saying it look like a Honda.
There is a psychology term for this....... Cognitive Dissonance. Here is an excerpt from an article https://www.simplypsychology.org/cog...issonance.html "People have several ways to reduce dissonance that is aroused by making a decision (Festinger, 1964). One thing they can do is to change the behavior. As noted earlier, this is often very difficult, so people frequently employ a variety of mental maneuvers. A common way to reduce dissonance is to increase the attractiveness of the chosen alternative and to decrease the attractiveness of the rejected alternative. This is referred to as "spreading apart the alternatives." In other words, we tend to justify our decisions by reinforcing that "WE" made the right decision. Both cars are extremely cool in their own rights! I wouldn't mind having both! Offer, you are my hero, LOL. Guys you have an incredible car in the Z/28 no doubt. NOW......if you want to justify your decision and KICK the ZL1 1LE A$$, let us know and we can help you out, LOL. All kidding aside, I love the Z28! Last edited by Moreno1; 08-07-2017 at 09:47 PM. |
