How is the ride quality? I live in Illinois and the roads are crap. How do the Bilstein shocks and struts soak up the bumps? Especially raised expansion joints which there are a ton of here! Thanks.

The ride quality is currently similar to the OEM 1LE as far as comfort is concerned, I am using BMR Linear rate springs with the shocks. I think Eibach progressive springs or OEM SS springs paired with these would produce a more enjoyable ride.

Performance wise, they are very good. This is probably the best setup I have tried that will hold me over until I can get a set of quality coilovers.

Some old pictures: Test fitting the custom HRE's, 19x11's all the way around. Just about as close as you can get to the strut, no wheel poke, no rubbing, no coilovers (yet.)

I happen to know that Zach drove the car at a recent HPDE at Grattan Raceway.

Direct quote from a friend who was there: “His engine is nuts, sounds amazing.”

Hope to see/hear it in person someday.
