They get them from GM warehouses, any dealer should be able to get the parts. Typical dealers don’t carry obscure parts like this in stock. I picked Findlay because out of a bunch of different online GM dealers I’ve used, their prices and shipping are usually the most reasonable.

Thanks to CDB95z28 I have ordered all the individual parts listed above.
I also went with the ZL1 backing plates at this time.

A note on the Z/28 duct kit being impossible to find.

I went on the hunt for it a little over a year ago. I had to have called 50 different vendors that claimed to have them online. All of them confirmed that they were out of stock.

Then one small warehouse returned my call and said he had the box in his hands. Said it was ordered for a customer in 2018 who ended up totalling his car before the parts came in. Once in, they sat on a shelf gather dust for about 2 years... Then I called. I swear I had to have gotten the last kit ever sold. That was in April 2020.

Thank you for assembling this parts list! The total for all of them is actually cheaper than I got the kit for, and it also helps should any of us need replacement parts.

Anyone have pictures of this installed. I recently was in an accident and the insurance adjuster is wondering what brake duct kit I had on the car. Unfortunately I am having trouble finding a reference picture
