Pretty great deal, if you are a gambler and willing to take a first year Chevrolet that is 98% new content. I'd wait at least two years, personally.
I could be wrong but I think you have to have at least a 2LT to be able to get the competition seats.

They said the competition seats are available at all trim levels.

I just pulled up the C8 Order/Reference Guide. Comp seats are NOT avail on 1LT, Optional on 2LT, and standard on 3LT

look again.....page 7 of the order guide.

The Competition Seat is Available in all Trim levels

Happy that the C8 LT1 is $69,998 here in Canada.
That's approx $53K in USD.
