I would guess ~18ish, but boost is all relative. It doesn't really matter. Changing the cam could cause it to swing +/-3psi. Heads being stock would take more boost, swap to some high flow heads and it will make same power at 2-3psi less. In the end the power/cylinder pressure is what matters, not the boost in the intake. Does it matter if he says it was 15psi or 30psi? Stock cube, stock head, small cam probably 18-20psi to make 1000rwhp. 416+ci big heads big cam ~14-15psi.

It matters because i have a very similar combo with stock cubes just like this so i am trying to see how mine compares. I am aware of all the possible variances with cubes, heads, etc.

I'm gonna guess it would take more like 22psi on stock heads and cubes.

I was getting 1.6 60ft times with the Mantic but I destroyed it the 3rd day it went drag racing. I think the tranny is stronger than that clutch. The street slayer triple is holding well for me...once you get over sticker shock, it showed very little wear on my last inspection, and that is a first for me, I'm on the 4th clutch in 10K miles.

My M6 is the last remaining part of my drivetrain that is oem. It survived multiple pulls on the dyno ranging from 15psi to 25psi, 1281whp 1133rwtq.

I have it dialed back to 16psi or about 1053rwhp since that is somewhat controllable. Also have the boost ramp rate fairly low now. This tranny has taken over 19,000 miles at over 600rwhp, 700, 750 and now 1000+. I do have plans for an RPM level VI with ZR1 gears though. I am pretty impressed with it.

My stock t56 with 35k miles on it is humming along with no issues. Trannys aren't typically an issue.

Yeah, your dyno bumped me down a notch on the 1000+ power board...lol. RPM completely rebuilt my ZL1 manual right before the car went to Arizona. It was not that there was anything wrong with it, I just needed to spread out the gear ratios so 1-4 would be low enough in the 1/4 mile and 5-6 would be high enough for the Texas mile. It has every option they could put in it now. Hardened gears and shafts of custom ratios, bronze bushings and forks and carbon blocking rings. It ran very nice on the road trip. I can't wait to pull it up to the lights again. I was making 1200whp with nitrous but I'm really hoping I can sell all the nitrous equipment I have rather than plumb it back in.

Did they have to be pretty conservative with timing because of the 91 or did the meth make up for any octane issue?
