i changed the oil yesterday at 1545 miles and i swear it feels like it has 50 more h/p.i know it prob. did'nt make that much diff. but it sure feels stronger. and no i'm not some teeny-bopper who does'nt kwow jack about cars.

If you cut the exhaust off right after the Headers it will sound like a 50 hp increase....

I'm sure Clean oil does help some.....

I don't live far from you....

Just down the road on 1010 hwy...

I changed mine yesterday with 620 miles on it. I too feel that it woke the car up. I also have seen a major gain in Fuel Mileage. 14.2 to 17

Good job dude. You're the first person on here that I've read about who has stuck it out for 1,500 miles. Even read a post of some dude changing the oil after 250 miles.

I feel a difference between the first day I drove it, and how it drives now. Only has maybe 400 miles on it though. Might be another month before I hit the 1,500 mile mark.

WHEN I get my car I'm going to change the oil after 200 or 300 miles just to make sure none of those nasty shavings get a good chance to do any damage and then I'll switch to a good synthetic around 1500 miles.

Had to take the car to the dealer to check a defective tire pressure monitor and to fix a door nick from the trucking company so I asked them to change the oil while the car was there. I have 760 miles on the car but changing the oil certainly isn't going to do any harm to the engine.

Be prepared for the cost though, $114! The Mobile 1 oil was $9.60/quart!
