Went to the track yesterday and made a bunch of passes. The fastest I ran was a 14.1158@97.45 with a 60ft. of 2.079. The D.A was 1711 and when corrected the time is 13.844@99.404. I know not fast enough for the top 10 but thought I would post up. Mods are what is mentioned in my sig.

Here is the slip.

Not a bad 60" if those are normal street tires. You drop the psi?

Oh God tell me about it. I rarely ran below 1,000 DA in Houston. Think it was a little before 2,100 before

What was the DA like? If it was high then that's a fantastic run for a 2LS. We may need a separate list for you guys given your gearing.

I rarely track DA but I probably should add it to my stats sheet where I log my runs. I'm sure I've hit less than a 14.0 with DA correction at some point. Would be nice if the track system could look up or calculate the DA and put it on the slip for you. Or there's also those portable weather station/DA calculator things too I suppose.

I know the heat is affecting me for sure. What was heading into deep 14.2 territory for me in late winter, early spring, has now settled back down into the 14.3 range. I'll take it as long as I can stay consistant.

When I get home from the day at the track. I look up the DA on dragtimes.com. I add this information to my spreadsheet. Then run the DA calculator to my fast pass of the day. I always just want to know what if.........

Baylor that 2.0 60ft was on street tires with the pressure at 40psi haha .

So if people ask me what my car runs do I say the corrected time taking into account D.A or whatever my physically fastest time is? I always get confused with that.

I have always been told that talking DA is like talking smack. Just use that so you know what you can do when you have great air. Otherwise just talk what it can do and mention it was a really warm day. If you can get out to a track that is closer to sea level and run on a 40 - 55 degree day you will have some good DA.

Best DA I have run in to date was -871. Worse DA was 1822.

oh wow, you could have dropped that psi A LOT lol.

IMO whatever your time slip says, that is what you ran. Which is why I'm jealous of those guys that run in negative or close to 0 DA..

I thought about it but I wouldn't have a way to bring it back up before I left the track, although I am pretty sure there is a gas station close that I could always fill it up at. Once I get some trailing arms and make a few passes with those I'll start messing with the tire pressure to see what gives me the best 60ft. I would invest in some DRs but i rarely go to the track.

You can drive around with low PSI for a bit its not a big deal, just dont hit any serious bumps or potholes.
