I installed mine when I did my clutch so the trans was removed. Stupid easy to install the shifter like that lol.

I have to say the clips were a breeze, I have this tool for 40+ years and have never used it for anything worthwhile. NOW I have, the perfect tool to disengage the clips. Install went smoothly, but it was hot and muggy by the time I finished. the ramps worked well.

That tool is for loosening radiator and heater hoses! I use mine for tons of stuff.

When I worked for Ford I had tons of those tools from 1” to over a foot long. They are awesome for so many things

I see a new learning curve here, the stick is tilted back a bit which confuses my muscle memory as to which gear it is in
