I would assume that putting these on a 6 speed would be pretty much be like learning to drive a manual again. Is that a good assumption to make?

Nothing ventured nothing gained. What made you decide on the VTC ?

That's kinda my take on it. I've had it for a few months now on my 2SS M6, and after initially testing it out on higher settings (Sport) I settled in on City+2 or City+3 almost all the time.
City mode is gives a quicker response than factory and has 8 settings, I was able to "tailor" the throttle response to my shifting style. At Sport settings you have to be on your game...especially driving in traffic. It was too aggressive for my taste.
That being said its a matter driving habits...I don't regret buying it but I feel like its more for Automatics...

I bought my VTC from another member here for $100 new in box about 2 years ago. I installed it on my 2014 LS3 M6 and started in SP 5 and went up from there. I kept it on SP9 for a few months and got the dreaded limp mode when leaving work one day.
I removed it and called VTC and he told me to reinstall and call if I had any questions.
During the 2nd install, I noticed it went a little different than the 1st time.
I have had zero issues and leave it on SP9 all the time.
The throttle response is awesome with no mods other than the Outlaw axle backs.
Such a fun car to drive.

Camguy I just quoted myself but that’s pretty much the answer above. As well I only want 2 modes for the device. Make it faster or slow down. I hope it arrives before Monday so I can play.

Looks like 150 is the lowest they will accept. I tried 140 and they came back with 170 and I counteroffered 150 and instant acceptance, so cant wait for mine either!

I stayed away from VTC because of the horror stories with the dreaded limp mode and the code that could not be erased after other members installed them no matter what they tried - " dealership or contacting VTC directly". That's why I have a belief that there were so many members trying to sell them online to get their money back because of issues.

Yup i had the same limp mode with my VTC, but I just reset my battery and it was fine. I haven't heard of any issues with the Pedal Commander so I'm going to give it a shot.

Check out JMS PedalMax first. ALL of it’s components are made in USA

Just a heads up, their shipping method requires a signature on delivery.
USPS tried delivering mine today but of course I wasn't home.

So I went to the post office and picked it up. Other than a PITA to unplug the OEM, its very easy to install. I'm on sport +2 currently and the car is way more fun to drive! Also its smaller than I anticipated.
