Best product to remove sticky stuff

I have a grayish spot on my vinyl trim (see pics) it is slightly sticky. I tried a damp microfiber cloth & it didn't help. I tried a little Sprayway Glass Cleaner on microfiber & it didn't help.

I don't want to ruin the finish so I thought I'd check wit the experts here.

Thanks !

not sure about it being sticky, but Adam's Super VRT works great for marks on vinyl and plastic.

I'm assuming a little won't discolor the finish? Thanks

Simple green works very well, goof off works also but I would be a little concerned about discoloring the area

No shortage of cheap plastic on these cars. Try a little in an inconspicuous place first.

By no means am I one of the experts but, I have had good luck with denatured alcohol. It's relatively safe. I would still test an inconspicuous area first though.

303 aerospace or any trim cleaner/restorer would work well.

WD-40. Stuff works on anything. Eats away the adhesive and won't damage the surface. For the future lol

3M adhesive remover. It's a white can with red lettering and can be found at local auto parts stores
