Phastek Carbon Fiber Zl1 hood
Hey I have a 2011 SS and I am thinking about doing a bumper and hood conversion to a 5th gen zl1 bumper and hood. I have a bumper picked out but the hood I’m having trouble with finding either cheap lightly used ones or brand new aftermarket ones. In short has anyone used the phastek carbon fiber zl1 hood, is it flimsy? Is it good quality and does it fit right?

You could also just get the heat extractor and put that in your hood you have now https://www.ebay.com/i/272225215585?...8efab4cfc36fbf

I don’t want to do that just bc it would cost more to have someone cut up my existing hood and put the heat extractor in. Plus wEighT ReDucTion brUh

I don’t think there is much weight reduction. My carbon fiber hood weighs one pound less than my factory SS hood

Was more of a joke than a point hence the weird writing of weight reduction
