Nice!
Keeping my eyes peeled for a low miles C5. Probably my old skool bent kicking in but any Corvette i buy HAS to have flip up headlights.

Oh, and a motor in the front too.

Actually sitting in front of my garage and on a Battery Tender. I did have to drive it for a week this Winter due to both my Grand Cherokee (Fuel Pump) and my wife's Grand Cherokee (blown engine) being down at the same time. First time on salted roads. had to baby it around through 4" of snow.

I actually ended up just getting a whole new bumper so I wouldn't have to worry about that. I am not sure exactly how they were going to fill them but I didn't want to have to worry about the plugs falling out later or cracking or anything.

Also there were some creases from when the license plate bracket was originally put on. It was only going to be a few hundred dollars more for a brand new bumper so figured why not?

Going to be picking up the bumper this weekend then hopefully will have time to put everything back together in the next couple weeks.

Nice, that’s the way I want to do it.
Were you able to get a GM bumper? I haven’t looked their availability in a few years. They were still available last time I looked. Sad to see a lot of stuff for these cars getting discontinued.

Yes, I actually got lucky and was able to find a local dealer that happened to have a brand new ZL1 bumper sitting around.

According to GM Parts Direct you can still get them as well but I've noticed with some stuff it says you can get them but after you order it they send an email and tell you it's been discontinued.

I would think an SS bumper will be easier to get than a ZL1 bumper since they made so many more SS's.

I can’t wait for that. Most likely I’ll maybe have an opp to purchase the tires next month. I’m cashing out for the dyno tune Tuesday the 15th of this month.
