I don't know what else to say,it is what it is,the numbers are what they are.I have no reason to post false numbers,I did this so people could see some actual facts and they could make a decision for themselves.

From reading sizzle06 post it had a tune with the roto fab.
Am i understanding this right?

"First up are my mods,
Roto-Fab CAI
BBK Tuned Shorty Headers
Pypes Off Road Downpipes
X-pipe
MSD Wires
XS-Power Mufflers(I know,no power gains)
Hptuners(Tuned by Phil at Tampa Tuning)"

So it does seem he did have a tune on the roto fab.
Then they put on the LSR cai and tuned that as well just like they did the rotofab for max gains.

The key word in this next statement that he posted was " retune "

"The next chart is with the LSR Intake and retune from Phil as the LSR moves alot of air."

To me it looks like both cai kits had tunes to them.

Either way thank you for your hard work and dedication to helping out the forum.

Btw i am in no way bashing roto fab. they provide a product that people are happy with. LSR just provides another option that has our unique take and design that many people are happy with too.

Perhaps I'm missing something but 432 WHP from shorties? Seriously? That has to be a record.

It was 412 before with the Roto-Fab. You are claiming 415 with similar mods. How is this so hard to believe?

Ill be honest with you. I used to think the same thing. It really makes a difference on how the car was broken in and the miles that it has. A motor does get more power when broken in.

I agree I need to put my car on that dyno

I see nothing wrong with how you approached this. No matter how much you try to present information, there is always those that will punch holes in your process

Even though i have no horse in this race, I applaud what you did.

The only thing I'm curious about is if you were comparing the Roto-Fab tune version to the LSR tune version? If not, then perhaps it may have handicapped RF some.

They used STD correction and no smoothing noted.

Similar except I'm running a Kooks complete exhaust (long-tube headers), not shorties. The comparison's I've seen with shorties is no where near the power and torque produced with long tubes. So based on your dyno numbers, I could have achieved the same results with my Roto-Fab intake and shorties (which would have saved a lot of $$$).

I have nothing against the LSR intake and I don't doubt that it can make significant power gains. I don't recall the LSR being around back in summer of '09 when I bought my Roto-Fab, maybe I just missed it.

In any case, I'm more interested in how the car made 412HP with shorties. I don't know that anyone else has achieved such results.

Thanks indeedss1,the only thing I forgot to mention was that the Roto-fab had the upgraded larger tube but like I said each intake was tuned for maximum results.

Remember that the shorties are paired with off road down pipes

You wouldn't happen to have a baseline dyno from that same tuner when your car was stock would you? Maybe you had a factory freak to start with!
