de-Pedderising :(

Pace car package installed less than a week...wife gets sick every time she gets in it. Stock suspension going back in this afternoon.

May I ask why she gets sick? The car handles and performs so much better with the Pedders kit.

Does it make her sick to her stomach because now you drive the car like it's meant to be driven??? If that's the case tone it down while she is in it. When she's not then giver hell.

Doesn't the pace car package come with adjustable coilovers?

Can you try some different settings? Seems like that would be easier than swapping back to stock.

i think we need to test and see if this happenes to more than just your wife... you can ship all the parts to me, i will install them, and we can test it on my wife to see if it is her or all wifes. sound like a plan?

sorry to hear though... maybe keep certain parts of it that do not effect the part of the ride that make her uncomfortable?

The car handled like a dream on smooth surfaces. Unfortunately, those are lacking around here. I adjusted sways, dampers, ride heights (my alignment guy is making his monthly nut off me)...could not get it dialed in to where she was comfortable. All in all, I bought the car to 1. have as a fun family weekender 2. pass down to my son 3. have some fun in the meantime. The fun family part was getting demoted, hence the change.

@Bhall82, there was too much jounce on any uneven surface. Even with the dampers set to comfort and the sways relaxed, it made her nauseous.

Hhhhmmm... If I had this problem, I would keep the Pedders, and trade in the girl. Perfect time to get a newer model!

That was my thoughts, or she can take her own car.

Wow...that's harsh! But I have to admit the thought crossed my mind too.

This is interesting. We've done a number of these set up and the ride in my opinion is only slightly stiffer than stock when the damping is set to around 6-8 with the sways in the center hole. That is too bad..

You might be able to install a good set of drop springs and keep the sways/bushings installed. They don't generally affect the ride quality much.

Kind regards,
