Funny story about the St Catharines plant. My wife and I drove up to Niagara Falls last fall for our anniversary. I joked that I was taking my Camaro back home to the land of it's birth.

While driving to St Catharines for dinner we were stopped by a bridge under construction. I pulled into a driveway to turn around and realized it was the St Catharines GM Plant. I did not know at the time that was where my engine was made. So I really did take it home to it's birthplace. Oh yeah ,the Falls were nice too.
