man that stinks. Very sorry for your misfortune. Hopefully the pistons are still in good enough shaping after making contact with the valves. I've heard the pistons can take a little abuse from contact but not sure how much before they need to be replaced too. Make sure to take some pics of the damaged valves and let us know what the pistons look like when you get the heads off.

Pistons are alright. Each one has a little half-moon witness mark where it contacted the valve. Heads are already off and at the machine shop. Didn't get any pics of the valves. I was too mad at myself for being so careless. Couldn't see the hole for the dowel, so had to go by feel. Felt like it was seated, but it wasn't. Expensive lesson learned.
