that is horrible, serious lack of respect for other peoples property. had a similar problem at work. found out it was a coworker that just decided he didnt like me. never had any kind of problem with him, actually i was friendly to him .... who knows what some people think

I your other thread I posted up an option, as did another guy. I have WiFi cams mounted in my garage for this very reason.

Since the gouge was so deep. Went and bought touch up pain. Doesn't look great but better than before.

Unfortunately car is in transit, i.e. Does not have local papers yet so the deductible is large. Its all coming out of my pocket. Hence I only did a touch up and not repaint don't want him to key it again.

Borrow a friends car and park it far enough away and sleep in it to catch him. He is probably coming the same time each time.
Could even be some guy whose girl thinks your car is hot.
It's crazy but you have no idea with crazy people.

This makes no sense at all. I am sorry for your loss. It is because of moronic behavior like this that I do not allow my significant cars to be outside of my garage(s) unattended.

Catch the SOB keyscratcher, and then get it fixed. Good luck.

....it's happened to me, with my VW of all cars! And it was parked away from others in the lot. Go figure. The entire side was keyed. It's a societal issue. I am sorry for your plight.
