hey guys can someone tell me who has the 6 plus are you having any issues with the keyboard when you go to send text message. mine will not rotate into landscape

I washabing that problem with my iPhone 6 but a software update seemed to fix it. I also think one of those aftermarket keyboards I had installed could have been causing the problem but I deleted that the same time I did the software update

i dont have a aftermarket keyboard at all. looks like it my phone it self

Do you know how to get into control center? Swipe up from the bottom of your screen and you wil see a gray menu. There will be five icons at the top. An airplane, wifi symbol, Bluetooth, a moon, and s lock with a half circle around it. Make sure the lock symbol IS NOT highlighted in white. If it is highlighted, tap it to where it goes dark again. Once you do that, check your phone now and see if landscape works.

If not, try a reset. Hold down the home button and side power button till you see apple logo. Once you get the Apple logo let go of buttons. Once it comes back on test it again.

i have checked and done everything you could thinkof to get this to work. every thing else works fine

Does landscape work everywhere else? Is it just in messages?

Looks to be a very common issue.

If you were still under warranty I'd absolutely make them replace it at no cost to you. I wouldn't deal with something I couldn't fix myself, or there being no workaround to fix it.

thank you very much for thid info. i went to 4 places today to check out the 6 plus and they all do it. i have a guy on a iphone fourm that says his phone dont it. how could his not but mine and the other 6 phones i looked at today do it

people like to lie. some people on this very forum say they put on long tube headers on their v6, and never got a check engine light, but they did...or their check engine light is broken. lol
