The screen doesn't rotate initially when you are sending the first text. Once you send the text and select that conversation from your list it will rotate. See.

I got one a few weeks ago and I like it. It comes with an app that tells you how far and how many steps you walk in a day. The camera takes pretty decent pictures too. When I traded in my flip phone that I had since 2009, the guy said it belonged in the Verizon museum.

that's awesome. I'll compare it to the fitbit I have. And I currently have the iphone4s.

Decided not to get it yet. Was going to try the edge program, but they still wanted $250 upfront.

$35 more a month. But the way I see it, it was $299 for the 2 year contract, which I was going to extend anyway. I might as well pay the $299 and the phone be mine after the 2 years. save myself about $500 in the long run.

Does Verizon give any form of cheaper plan pricing with the Edge Program? That is what makes the Next program worth it with AT&T. If you go Next with AT&, they will take 35 bucks off a month when compared to the 2 year contract. Granted you will pay about 35 a month for a device though.

Yeah, the guy was saying something about Verizon help paying for the phone, but I didn't really pay attention after he said I would need to pay $250 upfront. Didn't make any sense when I could spend another $50 and not even worry about the monthly payments for the phone.

Sometimes it doesn't hurt to hear them out. Example, when I got my Nexus 6 with Next, I had to pay the Taxes upfront which in my case was about 50 bucks. After that I pay 35 dollars for 20 months. So that is 35X20=700 or retail for my phone.

If I chosen to go into a contract, it would have been 215 up front and 35 dollars extra a month for 24 moths. So that is (35X24)+215=1055. With AT&T, it would have costed another 355 dollars if I decided to sign into a contract in the long run. Don't know the specifics on Verizon, but usually they all have something similar.
