H2O and lots of it is the only thing..
interesting take on remedies…The guy that lived across the street was a B-29 pilot, named Bill Morris….flew missions over Japan, any way he told me to drink distilled water and that it would dissolve them,,,After he punched out, I dropped a kidney stone in a small vial of the water….didnt do crap.

I have had 4.

They feel like what I imagine a GSW to the abdomen feels like.

I can tell you that I noticed a pattern- I would get them from cutting weight.

One of the ways I would cut was to ramp up my water intake to nearly 1 gallon a day of distilled water.
The higher intake of water leaves your body well hydrated.
But the distilled water has no natural minerals or salts in it, and your body cannot hold onto it, so you just sweat and pee it out.
Then a day or so before you begin your cut, stop drinking water.
Your body is used to being well lubed by the gallon a day, now before it gets back in sync, it dumps a gallon or so, this is good for almost 10 pounds of weight, and a very striated, vascular "look."

Afterwards, if I did not replenish my water and salt intake, boom, kidney stone.

It hurt so bad, that I literally went into shock. They had to give me a shot of adrenaline to get a pulse, as all my blood was pooling in my chest and abdomen. Doctor said I would have died in another 15 minutes from shock.

Yeah... As I said, imagine what a GSW to the stomach/ abdomen feels like, and you are mostly there, mostly.

Some people, like my sister, has a chemical in her body that naturally makes them. Not sure what it is, but hers is 10x the normal amount per Dr statements. She has had probably, no lie, about 70-90 stones over the past 15 years. Her Dr wanted to put a couple zippers in her back, they have had to go in to remove the bigger ones so many times. Her body is much better now at passing them, but she has several a year. I have seen those people that have them, I have been fortunate not to have that. I feel super lucky. It really puts your body through hell.

Its easy. first, side track conversation
second, talk about your new Hot Rod, the 2SS
third, mention that your V6 auto is faster than an LS3
fourth, mention your white cargovan, and 'helping kids' find your lost puppy.
Last, mention your best sexual _________

I was in the hospital for them last November, had the blasting procedure & a stent. Stents suck and could not wait to get it out. That's not a pretty sight, for sure!

It counts what kind of stones you have. But majority of stones are calcium oxalates. Stay away from spinach. Very high in oxalates. Also consider taking a magnisim pill. Magnisim liquify calcium. A lot of doctors blame coke and soft drinks. Has nothing to do with it. The caffeine in drinks is what hurts ya. Drink water with some lemon juice added. Decaffeinated drinks and a few beers work great. The best thing a person prone to stones is coconut water. High in potassium and helps with hydration. Stick with a low oxalate diet.

I'm not into doctors with sharp objects, so I passed my first 2 on a Friday night. It was hours of hell. The next afternoon, the pain returned, I was too tired to deal will another night of hell and went to the ER and got IV morphine. The doc did a CAT scan and asked if I was a tough guy. I said I was tough, but would get into trouble hurting a doc with his "toys". He sent me home when the pain passed. Sunday afternoon the PAIN CAME BACK! Having a fever, I knew this was a bad one. Same ER doc told me I had one too big to blast and a urologist was going to laser blast it in the morning. My morphine clouded brain suddenly realized what he meant. A doc was going to put a camera, and laser up my pee hole.
Oh, the joys of kidney stones.
